Sentinel Connect

Sentinel Connect is a simple but highly effective upgrade for our range of Sentinel machines. A new circuit board enables the kind of connectivity that comes as standard with our Titanium range, allowing more control over Sentinel devices. A mobile app for on-site engineers connects with each machine in the network, enabling them to check statuses, perform remote activations, schedule arming and disarming of the system, and more.

If you have an existing Sentinel system but want the advanced features offered by the Titanium range, Sentinel Connect means you can achieve this without having to replace your entire Smoke Screen system. This easy upgrade therefore saves you time and money, ensures your security protection continues uninterrupted, and gives you complete peace of mind.

How it works

The LCD PCB (printed circuit board) in your Sentinel machine is replaced with the Sentinel Connect PCB, which is then connected to a LAN cable. This new PCB allows the machine to connect via LAN to a smartphone app, which enables multiple control and troubleshooting options.

Network interface details

• The LAN, or Ethernet network interface, only supports 10/100Mbit/s 802.3 Ethernet.
  
• The Interface is equipped with a RJ45 socket.
  
• This interface can be directly connected with a Standard Ethernet Repeater (HUB) or Switch.

Easy troubleshooting

Sentinel Connect enables easy identification of errors such as low fluid levels, thermal faults, low power status, and so on. Quick and easy troubleshooting means less downtime and ensures your Smoke Screen is always ready to activate.
